Process Engineer - UHT Operations

Job Summary
Conduct process trials, validations, and change executions for UHT, aseptic, and culture milk operations to stabilize processes and improve yield. Analyze process data and KPIs to identify constraints, leading structured problem solving for complex issues impacting safety and quality. Partner with Operations, Quality, and R&D to establish critical operating parameters, support capital projects, and train processing operators on control strategies. Ensure full compliance with GMP, SQF, and HACCP requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the B2C network. This shared-site role requires strong floor presence and may involve off-shift support or up to 20% travel to the Darigold production network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment
- Proven experience improving process performance using data-driven methods
- Experience supporting or leading process trials and technical change
- Off-shift or weekend support
- Up to 20% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in UHT, Aseptic, Culture, ESL, dairy, beverage, or regulated food manufacturing
- Knowledge of CIP systems, thermal processing, and hygienic design
- Lean / Six Sigma or demonstrated CI leadership experience
