Job Summary
This role involves hands-on engineering for wafer and die processing in a cleanroom environment, requiring adherence to safety and contamination-control protocols. Candidates must possess strong problem-solving abilities and a deep knowledge of semiconductor materials. Responsibilities include communication of results, conducting process improvement experiments, employing standard troubleshooting protocols, and maintaining safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have experience with wafer processes and device processing, along with laboratory skills and data analysis capabilities. The position supports collaboration and emphasizes integrity and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident alien status is required
- A.A., B.S., M.S., or PhD in physical science or engineering with wafer processing and cleanroom experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in advanced packaging and materials processing
- Knowledge of wafer processes and basic device processing with good background in thin film deposition, dry/wet etch, or photolithography
- Excellent hands-on laboratory skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with CAD tools for fixture design
- Basic electronic measurement tools proficiency (e.g., multimeters, source meters)
- Overall experience with metrology measurements, data recording, and data presentation (PowerPoint)
