Job Summary
Process Engineer Technician on 2nd shift (3:00PM–11:30PM, Monday–Friday) collaborates with Process/Project Engineering, Tool Engineering, and Production to implement new product launches on the production floor; provides hands-on process troubleshooting and tool tryouts, analyzes tool design for function, assists operators with technical problem solving, conducts tests, reports data, and supports process optimization, tool and process quality improvements, and CI/cost-reduction and safety initiatives; duties include monitoring tooling inventories, coordinating set-up books updates, programming BLM tube laser & 5 Axis lasers, and providing technical support for manufacturing with a focus on lean manufacturing principles and PFMEA/SPC/GD&T competencies.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent education
- Five or more years’ experience in metal forming, roll forming, or equivalent
- Experience with roll forming operations, progressive stamping, welding or tool & die
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with CAD software
- Microsoft Office and internal manufacturing software
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR/EAR requirements)
