Job Summary
Tarkett seeks a Plant/Process Engineer responsible for planning, designing, and implementing safe manufacturing processes. Key duties include leading projects from concept to industrialization, ensuring compliance with EHS guidelines, designing optimal plant systems and processes, and utilizing Lean Principles and Six Sigma for project success. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, extensive experience in process and project engineering, and strong skills in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (Mechanical and Chemical Engineering)
- Proven track-record using World Class Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or lean tools to streamline processes; optimize production and/or quality of products
- Team oriented, self-motivated and innovative
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in project management in a manufacturing environment
- Polymer/plastics experience in sheet and film
- > 5 years of experience as a process engineer in extrusion / lamination
- Experience in leading equipment installation
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work closely with operations and "live" the processes for which responsible.
