Process Engineer

Job Summary
Evaluate existing processes and configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and develop best practices. Lead new process development including design, operation, and implementation while optimizing all production phases for efficiency, yields, and changeovers. Oversee process documentation updates and conduct root cause analysis to develop corrective action plans. Implement lean manufacturing techniques such as SMED, single piece flow, and 5S to maintain reliable and safe systems. Collaborate with product design, equipment designers, and engineering staff to optimize designs for manufacturability and create cost-effective production processes. Ensure all projects are completed on time while adhering to environmental, health, and safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience in process engineering and/or manufacturing engineering
- Experience in manufacturing
- Working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, for viewing a computer terminal distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception vision for driving and ability to adjust focus
