Job Summary
Lead the introduction of new products into mass production, ensuring manufacturability, repeatability, and cost targets are achieved. Develop and maintain clear assembly work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation. Optimize production processes, assembly sequences, tooling, and machine configurations to enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance. Establish quality assurance mechanisms including PFMEAs and Control Plans while driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and implement Lean practices. Support production equipment maintenance and reliability through inspections, calibrations, troubleshooting, and participation in 8D problem-solving teams.
Required Qualifications
- Technical vocational (MBO) or bachelor's degree (HBO) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools, including SPC, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and Control Plans
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to advise, influence, negotiate, and build effective relationships with colleagues and customers
- Proactive, confident, and solution-oriented professional who can drive improvements and gain buy-in from stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Dutch language skills
