Job Summary
The Process Engineer will lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions for food and beverage manufacturing operations, focusing on process systems like raw material storage, thermal processing, and food safety compliance. Responsibilities include designing processes, engineering equipment, performing calculations, developing specifications, supporting procurement, and aiding in installation and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, thorough food industry knowledge, and familiarity with startup processes, regulatory standards, and relevant software. A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1-7 years of experience in food and beverage systems are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Engineering degree in Chemical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-7 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing systems
- Experience in calibration, startup and commissioning of food or beverage process systems is preferred
- Knowledge of Process Controls that support recipe management and product repeatability
- Skilled in relevant software; Microsoft Office Software, AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, Power BI, and ACC is preferred
