Job Summary
Process Engineer at Sika focused on Twin Screw production efficiency through process design and development, and direct production support. Responsibilities include interacting with Quality and Tooling to resolve defects and mold issues; developing, coordinating, and implementing projects to improve efficiency and decrease scrap; designing and setting up processes, systems, workstations, and automation equipment; troubleshooting processes and systems; training lead/setup personnel and supervisors on systems; collaborating with Maintenance and Engineering to troubleshoot, develop preventive maintenance programs, and identify spare parts; developing work instructions for injection molding processes and systems and conducting training; monitoring and auditing injection molding systems for non-conformances; leading the Production Floor Team, assigning responsibilities, and tracking performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field and/or 5+ years of experience
- Years Experience: 3-5 years processing and automation experience
- Strong SPC orientation
- Proficient with PC software (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent internal and external relationships with all levels of management
- Strong hands-on commitment
- Ability to work in a team environment
