Job Summary
Develop manufacturing processes and methods while conducting product and process analysis to recommend improvements in quality, methods, and controls. Facilitate continuous improvement events, perform root cause analysis on nonconforming product, and implement revisions to existing product lines or new products. Collect samples to analyze data, develop studies to improve product quality, and prepare reports for quality systems and status meetings. Work with equipment designers to optimize production phases and assist in maintaining UL, ISO, and QCS certifications. Requires Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years manufacturing experience, and ability to work in varying temperatures with some travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
- Strong Microsoft office skills to include Excel and related computer applications
- Proven detail attentiveness, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent math and measuring skills
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Personal protective equipment is required
- Continuous participation in company safety programs and initiatives
- Some travel required (<20%) to other our other facilities
- Work environment is comparable to outdoor temperatures
- Regularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periods
- Regularly moves about the facility
- Periodically lifts and moves materials up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments without climate-control
- In-person attendance is an essential function of the job
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred
- 3+ years Manufacturing experience preferred
