Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related discipline)
- 5+ years of engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing, precision machining, high-purity metals refining, or other high-tech process industries
- Proven success in process equipment optimization and mechanical system reliability
- Proficiency in CAD design and mechanical modeling software
- Strong understanding of statistical process control and equipment performance analysis
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict contamination control protocols
- Capability to lift and handle up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with wafer manufacturing, crystal growth, or CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization)
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
- Project management experience in capital equipment upgrades or machine building
- Familiarity with automation and integration of mechanical systems in manufacturing
