Job Summary
Support the process engineering department by bridging development work and engineering for Seloxium's European-funded scale-up projects. Conduct hands-on process engineering at the pilot processing plant in Redcar, Teesside, focusing on chemical design, mass balance, and technology commercialisation. Manage data analytics to drive plant-facing decisions while maintaining meticulous documentation for process safety and DSEAR compliance. Requires an MEng/BEng in Chemical or Industrial Engineering with 10+ years in pilot plant scale-up. Competitive salary, 25 days leave, and flexible working available.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant degree (MEng BEng) in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with an emphasis on design engineering and industrial facilities management
- Experience in scale-up and technology commercialisation
- 10+ years' experience with a focus on process engineering scale up, chemical/process and design engineering within a pilot plant
- Experience collaborating with a process design engineering team
- Chemical design engineering and mass balance capability
- A plant-facing mindset and ability to collate and use data analytics effectively
- Process safety/DSEAR awareness and excellent diligence for documentation, maintaining meticulous records
- This is an on-site role based in Redcar, Teesside, TS10 4RF, U.K.
