Job Summary
Manage site process and productivity details to optimize efficiency, product cost, quality, capacity utilization, and operability while overseeing CAPEX projects. Serve as the process expert for all on-site manufacturing, leading troubleshooting of technology and quality issues, and interfacing with corporate teams. Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, service, and productivity, then direct activities to introduce approved products on time with internal and contractor partners. Ensure new processes comply with EHS regulations, cost control, and waste reduction standards while resolving equipment downtime and performing root cause analysis on defects. Create and maintain product documentation, drive visual operation metrics to the shop floor, and support site leadership on cultural journeys for EHS, Quality, and Customer Focus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
- Five years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb, twist, turn, grasp, and move about the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Training and experience in continuous improvement methods, statistics, and designed experiments
- Six Sigma
- Green Belt certification
- Demonstrated capability and knowledge of equipment reliability concepts and methods
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and remain flexible to changes
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Demonstrated project leadership experience, teamwork, and communication skills
