Process Engineer

Job Summary
Lead projects to install equipment and modifications and drive expansion/improvement plans in a food/beverage manufacturing environment. Provide professional project management, scoping, cost estimates, and timelines; engineer, design and specify equipment systems to meet technical service needs; develop bid packages; negotiate contracts; manage procurement, training, and handoff of technical files; drive continuous improvement, line efficiency, safety, quality, yield, and cost goals; collaborate with vendors, plant personnel, and stakeholders to implement new technologies and optimize process design. Proficiency with AutoCAD and process flow diagrams (PFD) required; strong understanding of pumps, valves, instrumentation, pneumatics, sanitary process system design, heat exchanger calculations, and related fabrication methods; knowledge of hygienic design and food safety standards; ability to produce conceptual drawings, proposals, and reports; excellent communication and project-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or related engineering
