Job Summary
Process Engineer (Quotation & Project Execution) responsible for designing and defining process and plant concepts, linking Sales, Quotation, Project Execution, R&D, market segment leaders, and customers to deliver innovative solutions. Develop and calculate process solutions during sales/quotation phases from individual machines to complete plant concepts (process flow diagrams, design bases, technical specifications, and quality principles); contribute throughout the quotation and project execution phases to ensure technical excellence, align stakeholders, meet deadlines, and maintain cost transparency. Transform customer requirements into technically sound, value-driven concepts while supporting Sales, Quotation, and Project Execution teams; own a market segment within the Human Nutrition area; manage technical risks, deviations, change requests, and support commissioning (back-office), customer trials, and product development; drive continuous improvement through better workflows and data standards, and feed product/performance data into internal knowledge bases.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Food/Process Technology or Process Engineering (or comparable qualification with a focus on grain processing)
- Practical experience in grain processing including process design, technology, calculations, and/or commissioning
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a structured, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in international and multidisciplinary environments; fluent in German and English
