Job Summary
Lead plant discussions and investigations to improve throughput, efficiency, quality, and environmental performance through data analysis, field measurements, and employee conversations. Diagnose process incidents in raw mix preparation, kiln operation, and finish grinding to determine root causes, while monitoring key performance indicators and interpreting daily quality results. Conduct autonomous audits of raw mill, pyro processing, and finish grinding to identify deviations and validate corrective actions. Establish, monitor, and maintain standard operating procedures, manage equipment baseline capabilities, and coordinate process-related activities across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineers, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
- Must have a high level of integrity and commitment to comply with all applicable federal / state / industry compliance, regulations and standards
- Must be a self-starter with strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to function in a fast-paced and evolving business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong Interpersonal capabilities with ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, while building rapport with team members across functions/operating units and influencing at all levels of the organization
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with accurate data entry skills
- Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that the teammate be available to report to the designated work site / office and be ready to begin work when scheduled, in a 24/7 operation
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) and experience in a matrix organization
