Job Summary
Analyze workflows, equipment performance, and chemical processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and capacity. Define and report on key performance indicators for quality, safety, and operational metrics. Prepare process scale-up plans for new product introductions and provide technical support for quality issues or process upsets. Collect, analyze, and summarize trends to support maintenance programs and HSSE initiatives. Requires 25%+ time on feet walking the lines and lifting 50 pounds consistently. This role works within the Operational Excellence team at QuestSpecialty to ensure consistent high-quality aerosol can production through continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or mechanical engineering
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems
- Ability to spend 25%+ of an average day on your feet walking the lines
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
