Job Summary
Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, lead continuous improvement projects to reduce scrap and costs, provide technical guidance to production, planning, QA and maintenance teams, collaborate with product development and quality assurance to implement new products and processes, maintain and update process documentation for consistency and compliance, work with production supervisors to provide daily direction to operators, ensure OSHA compliance, and be willing to work varying shifts to support a 24/7 operation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high-speed paper converting or web-based film/paper/non-woven fabric manufacturing operations
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
