Job Summary
Process Engineer responsible for optimizing production processes in foam block manufacturing. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Develop and modify foam formulations to meet customer specifications and organizational goals. Ensure proper functioning of production equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Train operators and technicians on safe and efficient operating procedures. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Analyze production data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and track performance metrics. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of polymer and/or foam manufacturing experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including foam production
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
