Process Engineer

Job Summary
Lead a team to achieve established KPIs in safety, environmental compliance, housekeeping, quality, and efficiency; oversee production of virgin and recycled pulp to meet quality targets for paper machines; drive process improvements in safety, productivity, quality, cost, and variation reduction; foster a culture of safety and collaborate with maintenance and other departments to achieve operational excellence; assist in planning monthly maintenance activities for the Fiber Department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, or related engineering discipline
- 2-7 years of process engineering experience in the paper/pulp industry
- 3 years of proven experience in pulp/paper manufacturing (prior experience with a pulp mill and recausticizing plant is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
