Process Engineer

Job Summary
As a Process Engineer, you will assist the Engineering and Manufacturing groups to achieve site and departmental objectives. Responsibilities include providing technical support for new equipment installations, performing process simulations, and assisting in equipment design and optimization. You will administer and maintain Patheon Quality Systems compliance, assist in approving lifecycle documents, and ensure accurate documentation. Candidates should possess strong technical expertise in end-to-end processes including facility design and regulatory compliance, and have a familiarity with statistical process control and engineering specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical) required
- 3-5 years of related experience required
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements including FDA, EPA/DHEC and OSHA
- Basic knowledge of statistical process control including Lean concepts and process modeling tools
- Ability to prepare and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

- Advanced degree in Engineering preferred
