Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end commercialization of new plastic products from initial business award to first production; oversee project management across product engineering, operations, quality, sales, and marketing; provide technical leadership in plastics manufacturing; develop and maintain timelines and budgets; ensure alignment with customer specifications, quality, and delivery timing; manage post-launch technical support and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve project goals; require strong PM, communication, and interpersonal skills with experience in plastics manufacturing and knowledge of injection/blow molding and related technologies; PMP certification is a preferred qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Plastics, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in plastics manufacturing
- Proven success in managing and commercializing new products
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with quality systems and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with injection molding, blow molding, or other plastics processing technologies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
