Job Summary
Lead manufacturing process improvements for Molded Fiber products by optimizing cycle times, maximizing throughput, and minimizing scrap through continuous troubleshooting and design of experiments. Create and maintain engineering documentation including PFMEAs, process flow diagrams, and molding specifications while establishing parameters based on material and machine capabilities. Oversee lab and process technicians, coordinate responses to quality concerns, and manage NSF audits and GMP standards. Immediately address safety hazards and maintain excellent attendance records. Manage direct reports and lead teams to ensure consistent processing across all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more (3+) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Three or more (3+) years of experience managing and leading direct reports in a manufacturing environment
- Must have Continuous Improvement experience
- SPC Gain Seeker experience
- Must have management/supervisory experience
- Must have analytical skills
- proven leadership effectiveness
- Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- PI systems experience (digital EOT systems)
- Proficient to expert knowledge in pulp and fiber process and tooling
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
