Job Summary
Lead feasibility, scoping, planning, implementation, and commissioning phases of engineering projects while managing capital and major maintenance projects. Direct engineering consulting personnel for scope, estimates, detail design, and equipment procurement, and perform basic mechanical and piping design as needed. Coordinate with discipline engineers, specify equipment and materials, and administer hazardous piping programs and pressure vessel inspections. Apply formal problem-solving techniques to improve process capability and product quality by collaborating with operations, maintenance, and management to resolve daily safety, production, and quality issues. Facilitate problem-solving task teams and lead project execution with minimal supervision. Requires a BS in engineering, 2-3 years pulp and paper experience, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.

Desired Qualifications
- Prior experiences in pulp and paper engineering and/or field work concerning pulp and paper making machinery and piping systems
- 2-3 years pulp and paper industry experience
- Experience working with non-traditional, high-performance work systems
