Job Summary
Lead process improvement projects for mining and refinery operations, focusing on innovation, production capability increases, safety, and environmental stewardship. Develop and refine computer-based production models to validate process changes and prioritize capital projects through upfront engineering and scoping. Support five-year planning activities, including target development and capital design, while ensuring sustained safety excellence through audits, meetings, and management of change protocols. Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering required; Master's preferred. Onsite role at Esterhazy, K2.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Major in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental or Industrial Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) status
- 0-2 years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
- Internship/co-op experience
- 2+ years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
- 4+ years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
- 8+ years or more of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative and can perform in a team environment
- Strong ability to set goals, priorities, and schedule to accomplish tasks
- Effective oral & written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
