Job Summary
Process Engineer role to support daily production in wire and cable manufacturing, leading improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost; responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment integration, new product industrialization, and operator training; responsibilities include hands-on technical support for extrusion/stranding/cabling processes, root cause analysis of quality/downtime issues, driving Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, leading process development and validation for new products, installing/optimizing new equipment, developing SOPs, correlating product performance to process variables, and ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (AS9100/ISO) and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical, or related field)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software, and PLC-controlled systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change through continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work both independently and within team environments
