Job Summary
Engineering Manager for Process Engineering in Chaska, MN leading a team of process engineers to support process development, optimization, and continuous improvement for existing product fleets and new platforms. Responsibilities include implementing engineering working standards to drive efficiency and quality, defining department technical/resource strategies, managing equipment operation and process specifications, budgeting and scheduling, coordinating with customer engineers and cross-functional teams (including TMEA, sales, marketing), presenting materials for internal and customer meetings, facilitating IP creation for TEL related to semiconductor equipment, and travel to Japan, external customers, and office locations as required. Employee management includes hiring, developing, goal-setting, and performance management; adherence to the RBA Code of Conduct; and leveraging TEL’s learning and educational reimbursement programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum four-year degree in science/technology discipline is required
- Minimum eight years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and/or semiconductor equipment is preferred
- Knowledge and experience of vacuum-based equipment is preferred
- Knowledge and experience of plasma etch equipment is preferred
- Strong problem finding/solving skills are required
- Strong oral communication and technical presentation skills are required
- Ability to travel 0-10%
