Job Summary
Process Engineer with expertise in Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) injection molding leading process development, optimization, troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing LSR molding processes, data-driven problem-solving for complex molding and quality issues, applying Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen/DOE/SPC and root cause analysis, supporting new product introductions and scale-up, maintaining SOPs and process documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading engineering projects with timelines and milestones, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and providing technical guidance and training to operators, technicians, and junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) injection molding within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, molding machines, tooling, molds, process controls, and automation systems
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DOE, SPC, and root cause analysis methodologies in a production environment
- Experience supporting process development, optimization, troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, project management, and process improvement skills
