Job Summary
Develop and document die cast processes for optimum quality and output, assisting operations in maintaining optimum process and troubleshooting. Participate in tool design and cavity configuration for new and existing programs, working with other departments during APQP events to resolve equipment, process, quality, efficiency, or tooling issues. Perform minor maintenance on die cast machines as required and contribute to continuous improvement activities. This role requires 10 years of experience with die cast machines, including Buhler, Prince, and Weingarten, and a strong understanding of complex die cast tools integrated with hydraulic and electronic cylinders. Schedule is 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 10 years of experience in set-up, operation and process development with die cast machines
- preference for experience with Buhler, Prince and Weingarten machines
- A strong understanding of complex die cast tools integrated with hydraulic and electronic cylinders, slides and switches
- Currently authorized to work in the United States
- U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) eligibility
