Job Summary
Hands-on Process Engineer on the plant floor focused on improving yield, throughput, and product quality; troubleshoot production issues, lead root cause analysis, support new product scale-up and manufacturing readiness, create and maintain process documentation and SOPs, train operators on process changes and new equipment, and partner cross-functionally to execute capital projects, automate opportunities, and advance process control improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field
- 5+ years of experience in chemical processing or plastics manufacturing
- Hands-on experience in polymer processing, extrusion, or compounding
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement tools
