Job Summary

Process Engineer responsible for developing workflow, work stations, and equipment improvement recommendations within a manufacturing environment. Fine tunes manufacturing processes by researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; evaluates processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and material. Responsibilities include maintaining setup sheets and mold shim packages, reviewing COAs with vendors, conducting mold and material trials with suppliers, coordinating with the Mold Shop and R&D to implement improvements, leading monthly reviews on production performance and scrap reduction, and performing weekly door-skin testing and data reporting. Requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency with process simulation and design software, and familiarity with quality and manufacturing tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, PMP advantageous). Education and experience align with a bachelor’s degree in engineering fields; master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
