Job Summary
Support processing and set up teams to improve daily efficiency and continuous improvement efforts. Participate in product launches to ensure smooth transitions and contribute to PFMEA activities. Implement process improvements affecting scrap, labor, and downtime while leading investigations focused on scrap reduction and cycle time reduction. Identify root causes for customer rejections and establish robust production processes, optimal machine settings, and process standards for raw material dryers. Provide technical support and training to processing, molding, tool room, and maintenance departments using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering with minimum 10 years of related manufacturing experience required. Fundamentals of Systematic Molding and Master Molder 1 and 2 certifications necessary. Full-time position in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent injection molding processing experience
- Minimum 10 years of related manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of thermoplastic morphologies and their properties
- Understanding of polymer chain degradation and its causes and effects
- Fundamentals of Systematic Molding certification
- Master Molder 1 certification
- Master Molder 2 certification
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
