Job Summary
Lead business process analysis, scoping, and planning for enterprise solution projects, defining tailored approaches across the full project lifecycle. Facilitate workshops with business users to gather requirements, validate designs, and drive formal change management initiatives involving process automation and document management technologies. Apply BPMN, ECP, and UML standards to map, optimize, and specify end-to-end business processes, collaborating with architects on design specifications and data modeling. Deliver projects implementing business process transformation within financial services environments, leveraging tools for workflow management, business rules engines, and enterprise application integration.
Required Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum of 5-7 Years of Process Engineering experience
- At least 5 years as a Senior Process Engineer
- Above average computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project)
- Experience in facilitating workshops with business users (up to executive level) to gather requirements, generate ideas and validate designs
- Must have at least 5 years experience as a Business Analyst involved with assessing, mapping, and optimizing business processes
- Must have been involved in the delivery of formal projects implementing business process change that included the application of process automation and document management technologies
- Knowledge of and experience in applying formal business process modelling or business analysis methodologies
- A deep understanding of the requirement for end-to-end business processes and the issues related to process performance in a traditional organization
- Experience in applying process modelling standards such as BPMN and ECP
- Experience in projects involving formal Change Management and an understanding of its importance in business process transformation
- Experience is using Use Cases to specify requirements (Business and System)
- Knowledge of UML in order to collaborate with Systems Analysts and architects in the production of design specifications
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the concepts of Enterprise Architecture and a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Understanding of data modelling and the ability to perform basic SQL database queries
- Experience within the financial services environment
