Job Summary
Lead facility safety, quality, and productivity initiatives by executing PHAs and JSAs, monitoring operations, and eliminating non-value-added activities. Manage major process equipment projects over $750k, develop standard work, and mentor less experienced engineers while collaborating with shift supervisors. Maximize equipment efficiency and resolve safety issues proactively to drive a LEAN culture. Requires a B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with two to four years of process and project management experience. Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Tremco CPG operates 21 manufacturing facilities across North America.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Controls, or similar Engineering Degree
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Two to four years of related experience and/or training
- Must have experience in both practical Process Engineering and Project Management
- Must be capable of successfully managing major process equipment projects (>$750k) on time and on budget
- Must be capable of leading and/or supervising others in their role or in the execution of completing a project
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred
- Proficiency in workflow processes, value stream efficiency, and systems thinking
- Understanding process variance and the resultant effects on Quality
- Knowledge of applied statistics
- Ability to perform problem analysis utilizing problem-solving methodology
- Must be knowledgeable in the Project Management software being used
