Process Engineer II

Job Summary

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment workflows, and process parameters to meet production and quality goals. Establish robust process control plans, standard work instructions, and job safety analyses. Select and qualify vendors, conduct root cause analysis for initial quality issues, and lead development projects for new product introduction. Train operators and technicians on proper execution while tracking production data to identify improvement trends. Provide subject matter expert support for operational and quality issues in production.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, other related Science/Engineering, or commensurate experience
  • 4+ years of experience in an engineering role
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Ability to create detailed process documentation and training materials
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset and personality with a hands-on can-do attitude
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to use a computer and sit at a desk
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Visual acuity for reading measurements, assembly instructions, and monitoring equipment
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms, machinery sounds, or verbal instructions in a noisy environment
  • Will be required to wear appropriate PPE as outlined by company safety protocols
  • Must be considered a U.S. Person eligible to work in the United States
  • Export Compliance Assessment

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., Defense industry, medical devices, automotive, electronics) is a plus
  • General knowledge of manufacturing is preferred
