Job Summary
Experienced Chemical Engineer sought to lead Ecoat process optimization and production support in Greenville, OH. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance for Ecoat processes, leading debottlenecking and cost-improvement projects, reviewing and correcting formulation/quality issues, providing off-hours troubleshooting to safely resume production, communicating process information to site and off-site personnel, facilitating root cause analyses, and mentoring the Operations Engineer. The role requires strong technical ownership of Ecoat plant trials, leadership across shifts, safety and process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
- 8+ years of experience in the chemical industry
- Strong understanding of Process Safety Concepts and their applications and familiarity with EHS procedures/standards including PSM
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities; ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience and familiarity with process equipment and instrumentation
- Root cause failure analysis
- Mentoring and leadership capabilities; guiding Operations Engineer
- ABB automation knowledge preferred
- Ability to provide troubleshooting support including off-hours
- Demonstrated technical responsibility for plant trials in Ecoat
- Ability to identify and lead projects to debottleneck and improve cost and processes
