Job Summary
Proactive, analytical process engineer providing basic to intermediate process engineering support to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency goals. Utilizes data gathering systems and lean/continuous improvement methods to troubleshoot manufacturing process issues, design improved equipment/processes, develop SOPs, and train operations personnel. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to standardize and improve processes, ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory requirements (GMP/cGMP, FDA expectations), and manage capital/expense improvement projects to deliver on time and within budget. Focuses on root cause analysis, problem solving, and delivering sustainable performance gains in product quality and capacity while reducing safety risks.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Engineering or related discipline and zero to four years related experience and/or training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Prior continuous improvement experience
- Working experience in a FDA regulated environment using GMP/cGMP processes preferred
