Job Summary
The Process Engineer I at Materion is responsible for improving manufacturing processes to enhance machine reliability, product quality, and cost efficiency. Key responsibilities include overseeing product manufacturing, implementing process control systems, maintaining Statistical Process Control, and leading project teams for safety, quality, throughput, and machine reliability improvements. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years of process engineering experience. The role requires the ability to qualify under export regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Materials, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline)
- Minimum of 3 years process engineering experience
- Eligibility for export compliance under ITAR and EAR
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate degrees in Engineering
- Experience in process improvement
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control
