Job Summary
Process Engineer I at Genesis AEC contributes to project deliverables under guidance from senior engineers, focusing on designing and implementing manufacturing processes (biological, API, oral solid dosage, cell therapy, aseptic processing) and supporting systems. Responsibilities include creating process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment lists, specifications, and technical reports; performing process simulations; learning document control and project phases; assisting with P&ID development and cross-disciplinary collaboration; and supporting regulatory compliance with FDA/ISPE/BPE standards. Preferred exposure to pharmaceutical/life-science environments and a path toward Professional Engineer licensure. The role features a hybrid in-office and work-from-home schedule in Medford, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- 2-4 years of experience; co‐op or internship experience welcome
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
