Job Summary
Identify and implement process improvements across the Baltimore location; own improvements to portioning automation between sprinter and leafy green machinery; build improvement plans around shipping accuracy and error reduction; partner with Operations on drop zone management in meal bagging/portioning; own HCOS and drive improvement across departments; develop, track, and analyze KPIs using data and on-floor observations to reduce variability and improve safety, quality, throughput, and yield; lead scoping and implementation of improvements and updates to standard work; maintain on-floor presence for troubleshooting; coach operators and supervisors on standard work; develop and deliver training materials; serve as a liaison between plant operations and cross-functional teams; support process trials and equipment changes; travel <10%.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree in a STEM field (e.g., Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering) and 1-2 years of experience in operations strongly preferred
- Experience supporting and improving automated machinery; working understanding of mechanical systems, controls, and equipment operating parameters
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to drive results and problem-solve across teams
- Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and facilitate structured problem-solving
- Proactive, data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel for data analysis and modeling
