Job Summary
Mid-senior Process Engineer to support sales, engineering, commissioning and optimization of GEA process systems in the Liquid, Fermentation, and Filling engineering team. This role focuses on liquid/fluid processing in the beverage, food, and dairy industries. Responsibilities include designing and improving equipment configurations, process flows, and systems; ensuring processes meet GEA standards and customer objectives; maintaining quality, safety, and environmental compliance; leading technical activities and FAT; planning commissioning and test procedures; providing troubleshooting and on-site support; and collaborating with cross-functional teams across technology centers and competence centers. The position requires the ability to travel up to 50% (including international travel) and does not offer visa or work sponsorship. The base pay range is $85,000–$120,000 per year, with potential bonuses/equity and location-based adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or similar related degree preferred
- At least 2-10+ years of related industry experience
- Processing experience in the food, dairy, or beverage industry preferred
- Liquid Processing experience preferred
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and work well in a team setting as well as independently
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be willing to travel approximately up to 50%, including international travel
