Job Summary
Process Engineer responsible for supporting the 24/7 Float Glass manufacturing production, scheduling, cutting, processing, inventory and shipping to optimize the supply chain and meet customer requirements. Role includes overseeing float line wareroom production, order processing and related scheduling, inventory, and shipping activities; emphasizes customer interaction, capacity utilization, and continuous improvement. Must have a Mechanical Engineering degree and 1-2 years of manufacturing experience; desirable to have a broad background in supply chain management and customer interaction. Focus on meeting order commitments and achieving high efficiency through teamwork within a matrix organization.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- 1-2 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry
- Desirable: broad background in supply chain management and customer interaction
