Job Summary
Implement machine standard settings, lead continuous improvement efforts, and support equipment upgrades, process changes, and troubleshooting activities. Partner with production, maintenance, suppliers, and contractors to ensure equipment reliability and project execution, while training and coaching team members to enhance technical capability. This role requires strong engineering discipline and practical manufacturing judgment within an industrial environment, involving regular interaction with production equipment and cross-functional teams. You must be able to support operations before or after normal hours and respond to off-hour calls when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a high-speed production or manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine reliability, materials, equipment, tools, and maintenance-related workflows
- Experience with project management, problem solving, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing setting and work well with production, maintenance, contractors, OEMs, and suppliers
- Self-motivated, results-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to support operations before or after normal hours and respond to off-hour calls when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar 2D/3D software
- Supervisory or coaching experience
