Job Summary
Drive end-to-end process improvement across the manufacturing footprint, optimizing production lines, capacity, and resource efficiency while managing the supplier and co-manufacturing network. Lead technology transfer, documentation, and training across facilities and partners, scaling lab or pilot processes to full production using design of experiments and data-driven validation. Collaborate with R&D to align on product specifications and technical feasibility during early-stage formulation, ensuring scalability and production readiness. Audit, start up, and validate new manufacturing sites for readiness and compliance, supporting quality systems, root-cause analysis, and OEE improvement initiatives. Translate bench-scale processes into commercial execution with minimal friction, ensuring formulation and process decisions are compatible with equipment capabilities and supplier constraints. Full-time, in-office role based in New York City with travel up to 2-3 weeks per month.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
- 4+ years experience in process design, scale-up, and manufacturing optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, applying first-principles thinking and data-driven insights
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- A bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous learning
- Humility, curiosity, and a drive to build iconic consumer brands
- Full-time, in-office role based in New York City
- Expect to travel up to 2-3 weeks per month as needed for commercialization and production trials
