Job Summary
The Process Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Champion and embodiment of CPS Core Values
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements relevant to the manufacturing industry
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and control
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, SPC)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to analyze data, look for trends, and draw conclusions for said data
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to accept the demands of a twenty-four hour, seven day manufacturing operation
- May require occasional off-shift or weekend work
