Job Summary
Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. Develop and implement strategies to optimize existing workflows and conduct in-depth technical analysis of process data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, quality assurance, and production operators to implement best practices, troubleshoot process-related issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, manage capital projects and contractors, and provide training to production teams regarding new processes. Maintain accurate documentation of all changes and improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards
- Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to quality
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred 1-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with process simulation tools and statistical analysis methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- 2D AutoCAD
