Job Summary
Process Engineer – Controls in the Machining Operations Team responsible for applying thorough control systems knowledge to multiple machining facility processes. Provide technical expertise in control systems and automation to the Operations Maintenance & Controls team, enabling project engineers to deliver production processes supported by appropriate control systems. Troubleshoot PLC/interfaced systems (e.g., Asi, Profibus, Profinet) using a logical approach; implement in-house controls projects and capture cost savings versus external sourcing; upgrade equipment and address obsolescence; coach and developMaintenance & Engineering colleagues in areas of expertise. Competencies include Building Trust, Customer Focus, Decision Making, Effective Communication, Quality, and Safety. Qualifications include extensive maintenance experience across multiple control systems, PLC programming skills, and ability to read electrical drawings and ladder diagrams; Siemens Simatic Manager / TIA experience and Fanuc robotics/tools are advantageous.
