Job Summary
Formulate inline inspection strategy and establish defect characterization techniques to optimize contamination-free manufacturing recipes. Drive defect analysis, isolate suspected processes, and lead defect reduction activities while mentoring technicians executing scans and data reviews. Compile comprehensive defect and PFA analysis to support tactical issue detection and advanced technology development. Execute and oversee activities within a clean-room environment, adhering to all safety, health, and security requirements. Manage continuous improvement to streamline defect detection efficiency and monitoring workflows. This role includes shift schedules with evening and weekend coverage at GlobalFoundries Fab 9 in Essex Junction, supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduating with Bachelor's in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science or related engineering field from an accredited degree program
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing
- Possess strong communication skills with the ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
- Candidates for this position are expected to work the day shift, including weekend coverage
- Required to work in a clean-room environment to supervise, execute or oversee activities
- Positions include shift schedules, including evenings and weekends
