Job Summary
As a Process Engineer in CNC Automation at Dandy, you will own the development of CNC processes for patient-specific dental components, from prototype to production. Key responsibilities include designing and validating machining workflows for multi-axis mills, integrating automation systems into CNC operations, and optimizing toolpaths for various complex materials. You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams to enhance manufacturability and lead yield improvements through structured problem-solving. Candidates must possess over 8 years of relevant experience and strong technical skills in CNC machining and automation.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in micron-level precision CNC machining, automation, or process development
- Deep technical fluency in multi-axis milling (3-, 4-, and 5-axis)
- Experience developing, tuning, or troubleshooting post-processors or control drivers for G- and M-code generation
- Proven experience integrating automation or robotics into machining workflows
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), process validation, and manufacturing scalability
- A systems-thinking approach
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ceramics, CNC machining, spray applications, inkjet printing
