Job Summary
Analyze 2D prints with GD&T and 3D models to develop CNC programs, select cutting tools, and evaluate parts using 3D CAD and CAM software. Lead process development for new products, support pre-production builds, and analyze production data to identify trends and drive improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, approve tooling and processes, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Develop and maintain process documentation, train production personnel, and support capital projects from concept through execution.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in machining casting processes
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics
- Advanced proficiency in CNC programming
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and fostering team collaboration
- Strong grasp of fundamental mathematics as applied in a production environment
- Industrial plant setting
- Safety protection required
- Must wear safety shoes, ear protection and safety glasses
Desired Qualifications
- hands-on experience with CNC machinery, particularly FANUC-based systems
