Job Summary
Monitor and optimize operational processes and systems by analyzing data, identifying improvement areas, and implementing strategies to increase efficiency. Support day-to-day production operations, provide troubleshooting and maintenance assistance for manufacturing lines, and lead capital projects for equipment installations and upgrades. Continually improve products through variation reduction, investigate manufacturing problems, and consult with production teams to recommend and evaluate corrective actions. Create, refine, and implement standard work while using lean six sigma to eliminate waste and streamline material flow. Assist new product development and conduct regular systems audits to generate reports for decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in operations engineering or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of textile industry standards and regulatory requirements specifically for Printed Fabric Label & RFID Sticker
- Experience in a related industry (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, software)
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methods
- Experience with automation technologies
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of systems engineering
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standard
- Strong multi-tasking, problem solving, decision analysis, situation appraisal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to connect and influence at all levels of the plant
- Mechanical competency with controls, instrumentation, PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Six Sigma exposure/experience
- Green Belt / Black Belt certification
- Strong attention to detail
